It will be discussed in detail at their next regular meeting, Friday, October 12, 1945, at •8:15 p.m. in the Rose- dale Gardens Community House. The Detroit Edison Company has surveyed the present lighting system and in addition to sub- stituting 6,000 lumen lights for present 1,000 lumen in each block and 2,500 lumen at each intersec- tion, they propose to install new 6,000 lumen lights at each alley intersection South of Plymouth Road. The proposal has many i proponents although the installa- tion is expected to increase taxes in that area slightly. All property' owners in Rosedale are cordially welcomed to express their opin- ions at the meeting. j A stunt that was shown at the New York World's Fair and that is again mystifying spectators at the Du Pont exhibit on Atlantic City's Boardwalk makes use of a'. simple chemical reaction.
