Probably yes, looking into permit. New/Old Business: Cemetery Stone Repair at Newburg Cemetery: Will charge us for bags of gravel and sand for project, previously authorized $2,000 for this project, Motion 06/01 Kathie Glynn makes a motion to add additional $2,000 to repair headstones at the Newburgh Cemetery for 2020. Betsy Calhoun seconds. Motion approved. Historic preservation conferences moved to September (SHPO and Michigan Network), still on for now. New Fundraisers: Should Happily Ever After be canceled? Discussion, half uncomfortable and half comfortable. Will cancel this year. Office will handle refunds. Civil War Tea in September: Hold off in canceling until after the 4th of July. Cleaning Cemetery Stones Workshop: Haven’t been able to talk to Mary Cambridge, she is cleaning up the cemetery during quarantine; Need to make sure she is using the right cleaning materials, etc.; Booklet at Greenmead with information about cleaning headstones. Current Issues: Orson Everitt House on 7 Mile is looking to rezone to office from light manufacturing; already been rezoned, house is for sale again. Ford Mill on Newburg- no new news. Budget for 2019-2020 is $5,300. Balance remaining $4,705.02. Certified Local District Review, one page summary to meet with Linda: Review will allow us to get grant money, City Council may approve if we explain concisely, Kathy Johnson-Bartshe will send one page summary again. Historic District Survey: If we received grant money, we could do a survey, possibly use some of our City funds to supplement grant, should conduct a reconnaissance survey first, mark out different places and write a description about each, look at what we should survey the most. Greenmead Updates: Greenhouse finished but having paint issues on one board that meets the ground. Need for gutters on certain buildings due to water issues (Kingsley and Shaw currently). Cost will be determined by style of gutter. 2020 Meeting Schedule: Voting August 5 and October 7 Planning Meeting Dates: July 8, September 2 (or 9), November 4, December 2 Adjourned at 6:45 p.m. Submitted by Kristin Braun Waterbury
