HomeMy WebLinkAbout2020-09-28 (SPECIAL) 41453 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 28, 2020 On September 28, 2020, the above meeting was called to order via remote Zoom technology by Vice President Bahr at 6:30 p.m. Councilmember Cathy White led the meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll was called with the following result: Cathy White, Brandon McCullough, Laura Toy, Kathleen McIntyre and Vice President Scott Bahr. Absent: Rob Donovic, Jim Jolly. Elected and appointed officials present: Todd Zilincik, City Engineer; Paul Bernier, City Attorney; Susan M. Nash, City Clerk; Sara Kasprowicz, Administrator of Council Office; and Casey O'Neil, Director of Information Systems. On a motion by McIntyre, supported by Toy, it was- #281-20 WHEREAS, the City of Livonia believes quality roads are a vital part of any community; and WHEREAS, the City of Livonia has a Citizens Advisory Committee on Roads that reviews and prioritizes City streets most in need of repair in utilizing asset management practices presented by the Department of Public Works and Engineering Department since 2002; and WHEREAS, Public Act 325 of 2018 requires local road agencies responsible for 100 or more certified miles or road to include requirements for asset management plans to be submitted to the Transportation Asset Management Council (TAMC) by October 1st; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Council hereby accepts the asset management plan report with any minor necessary revisions to be accepted by TAMC and be submitted on a three (3) year cycle for compliance. 41454 Special Meeting Minutes of September 28, 2020 A copy of the resolution and asset management plan will be forwarded to TAMC. A roll call vote was taken on the foregoing resolution with the following result: AYES: White, McCullough, Toy, McIntyre and Bahr NAYS: None The Vice President declared the resolution adopted. On a motion by McIntyre, supported by Toy, and unanimously adopted, this Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Livonia was adjourned at 6:54 p.m. on September 28, 2020. Susan M.
