Present: Kristin Waterbury, Betsy Calhoun, Kathie Glynn, Kelly Victor-Burke, Kathy Johnson-Bartshe, Emily Tchorz-Fielder Absent: Cindy Immonen Review of Minutes 10.1 B. Calhoun makes a motion to pass September 2021 Meeting minutes. K. Waterbury seconds. All in favor. Current issues Union Briggs fence – discussion of fence of and costs 10.2 K. Glynn makes a motion to accept the fencing, UAS 100 Spear Top (manufactured by Ultra Aluminum Manufacturing Inc.) in black gloss and installed by Nationwide Construction Group. There will be 200 feet of fence at 4 feet tall to border the building (3 feet to the west, 12 feet to the north and 5 feet to the east). K. Waterbury seconds. All in favor. Replacement of bungalow door – discussion of door 10.3 B. Calhoun makes a motion that we replace the back bungalow door with a period appropriate five horizontal panel door in cedar. K. Victor-Burke seconds. All in favor. New Officers 10.4 B. Calhoun makes a motion to accept the slate of nominations of the following names and positions: Chair – Betsy Calhoun; Vice Chair – Kristin Waterbury; Secretary – Kathy Johnson-Bartshe; Treasurer (ad hoc) – Kelly Victor-Burke. These positions will take effect on December 1, 2021 (the start of the fiscal year). K. Glynn seconds. All in favor. $500 left to spend in 6 weeks New/Old Business Certificate of Approvals – discussion of draft will be brought to the next meeting. Headstone repair – discussion of repairs; we have a few weeks left of good weather. Christmas Dinner/Appetizers – postpone to 2022 Greenmead Master Plan -- Discussion of focus groups and recommendation questions Fundraisers Will need discussion of what fundraisers will happen in 2022. Spend funds on undergarments and mannequins. K. Glynn makes a recommendation to spend remaining commission funds on archival materials and Happily Ever After supplies. K. Waterbury seconds. All in favor. Birkerts Presentation – K. Waterbury makes a recommendation to spend a total of $75 for speaker gift cards and $25 to spend on coffee and snacks. K. Victor-Burke seconds. All in favor. For next year: get a tree to decorate at the rec center to market events. Certified Local Government – discussion of remaining items needed to complete application. Civil War Tea – 60 attendees and good feedback Financials HPC has $6,972.75 in the historical fund Updates/Greenmead updates Discussion of flooding in Livonia. NAPC membership discussion for 2022. Church and schoolhouse roof are due for new roofs at this time. Blue House will likely need a roof in the near future. Bungalow roof quote for 3 tab is waiting for pricing. Next Meetings November 3rd and December 1st Adjournment Meeting adjourned at 8:14 p.m.
