Minutes of meeting of the Livonia Township Planning Board held at
Livonia Township Hall, Livonia Township, Wayne County, Aloha Sep°
15th 1945
Meeting was called to order at 0.0 PM by Chairman Johnston with all
Board members present and Attorney John B. AMbmroae.
Mr. ivierriman of 11025 Cranston St. Rosedale Gardens was present
on instructions from Building Inspector, Mr. Ray Owens, in oonneotion
with oonstruotion of a gararge at above address . It was brought to
the attention of the Planning Board that Mr. Merriman did not appear
before the Board Of Appeals as he was instruoted to do before proceeding
with the ereotion of this gararge but went ahead with construction .
It developed that this was the result of a misunderstanding on the part
of Mr. Merriman and on a motion by G. L. Isbell, seconded by Via. Fenake
it was adopted that the recommendation made by this Planning Board to
the Beard of Appeals that permit be issued stand. Attached hereto is
a letter from Mr. Kalmbaoh, neighbor on the "olose" side of Mr. Merriman's
yard, waiving any objection to Mr. Merriman*a gararge.
There appeared Mr. and Mrs. Schramm, "Farm #7", west aide of Levan:
road, fading, 500 ft. on Sohooloraft. They had been instructed to
appear by Building inspeotor, Mr. Ray Owens for having moved a portable
building to the address desoribed. Said building not conforming to
present building oode and presently setting on a flat oonorete floor
without proper footings or additional foundation and no rat wall.
Mr. and Mrs, Schramm agreed Mot to use this building for residential
purposes. Mr. Owens agreed to confer with the sohramms regarding
re -enforcing said building for use as a barn or storage building.
This matter was tabled for further consideration after getting a report
from Inspector Owens. No motions was made.
There appeared the President of Alden Park villiage and their Attorney
with reference to the petetion presented by residents of said "villiaga
at the Public Hearing held at St. Michaels Pariah Hall on Aug. 30th.
They proposed that property west of Alden Park Villiage to the east
line of Section 29, south to Plymouth Road and north to a line parelell
to the proposed M-i zone in section 26 . They were agreeable to having
the m-1 zone along the P. M. My in section 28 oontinued west into
mutton the district direotly north of Alden Park Village . Their
proposal and petetion were noted for serious consideration by the Board.
on Motion by Isbell, seconded by G. N.Bentley meeting was adjourned
until 8. p. m. Sep. 20th and as the Livonia Township Hall will not be
available for the meeting it was decided to meet at the residence of
G. L. Isbell, 15810 Auburndale. Motion carried.
