HomeMy WebLinkAboutPLANNING MINUTES 1945-10-04Oct. 4, 1945 h'i'ITJTES of meeting of the Livonia Township Planning Board, held at Livonia Township Had Cross Headquarters, six Mile Road and Middle Belt( Township Hall was being used for a court case) . Meeting called to order at 8.05 pm. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved without change. . A letter from Mr. G. A. Bakewell with plat attached was read and discussed. On motion by Mr. G. U.,Bentley seconded by G. L. Isbell it was agreed to zone on proposed new zoning map lots o#e to eleven inclusive and lots fifty one yo fifty three inclusive of Chaney & Bakewell Plymouth Park Subdivision as C-1 and Secretary Isbell was instructed to advise Mr. Bakewell that this had been done. Motion carried . The petetion signed by Mr. H. Bondy first and Mr. O. Van- Kuren last was read and discussed . It was decided that this petetion covers too may separate areas to be considered as one petetion.. On motion by by G. L. Isbell, seconded by G. N. Bentley it was decided impractical to consider this petetion in its ptesent form. Motion parried. The work of checking proposed new zoning map against notes taken at the three public hearings was taken up and changes made as decided upon subject to final adoption or rejection by motion after completion of proposed new maps. A discussion was held regarding logical continuation, in future devepolepment of the Township, of established and platted streets. On motion by G. L. Isbell, seconded by Win. Fenske. Carried - it was agreed to instruct engineer Johnson to draw on proposed new zoning map all logical street extensions and all 1/4 s 1/2 and 1/8th section lines. This was done after Attorney $fix Ambrose gave a verbal report of his meeting with Mr. Sidney Strong, Engineer for the Wayne County Road Commission. On motion by G. N. B ntley, seconded by G. L. Isbell the meeting was adjourned untilethe last Thursday in Oct. to meet at eight pm. Livonia T ownship Hall. Motion Carried. Secretary
