Minutes of Regular Meeting of the Livonia Township Zoning Board
held at the Livonia Township Hall Nov. 21st 1946.
The meeting was called to order at 8.00 PLI by Chairman
Johnston. Present were Chairman Johnston, Mr. G. N. Bentley,
Secretary G. L. Isbell and Attorney J. B. Ambrose.
Minutes of the meeting of Oct. 24th and also minutes of
the Special Meeting of Nov. 18th were read and approved without
change.
A request for change in Zoning on Eight Mile Road,
commencing at the intersection of Durlingbrook Ave and running
Westerly 300 feet and. being approximately 115' deep was read,
this request for change from 0-1 to MI-1 being signed by Mr. Edmund
F. Wolff. Secretary Isbell was instructed to write to Mr. ?'Wolff
and inform him it would be necessary to present De etion
by fifty percent, orraore, of the property owners in a fistribt,
now zoned C-1. Said district extends on the south side of Eight
Mile Road from approximately 300' east of Middle Belt to approximately
300' west of Sunset St.
The nnestion of roomers, or boarders, residing with other
families dnn single residence districts was discussed and it was
agreed that such cases be referred to the Board of Appeals as they
arise.
A general discussion of affairs pertinent to the Township
was held but no motions on any matter were made.
At 9.15 PM a motion was made by Ir. Bentley, seconded by
G. L. Isbell that the meeting be adjourned until 8. O'clock PM
Thursday, nu' eff December 19th, 1946. Motion Carried.
