MCNIECE, SECRETARY JESSE ZIEGLER, MEMBER Minutes of Meeting of the Livonia Township Zoning Commission, held at the Livonia Township Hall, above address, on Dec. 19th 1946. Present were: Chairm.on Carson Johnston, Mr. Georgn N. Bentley, George L, Isbell, Secretary Zolrn B. Ambrose, Attorney. The meeting was called to order at 8.10 PM. Minutes of the meeting of Nov. 21, 1946 were read and adopted as they now read. e petetion was read, which was signed by Wilma and Arthur Walker and On Motion By Bentley, seconded by Isbell, it was passed. that Secretary Isbell be instructed to write the petetioners as per carbon copy of letter attached. A letter from the Livonia Tax Payers Association was read by Chairman Johnston. This letter was to compliment this Board on its efforts and on. Motion by Mr, Bentley, seconded by G. L. Isbell, it was moved and passed. that said letter, together with Mr. Johnston's reply be ineor- )orated into these,minutes. This Board has been informed that a petetion has been presented to the Livonia Township Board(now in the hands of tle Township Clerk) asking for a change in the district in Section thirteen North of. Broa.dmoorn, South of Terrence, Vest of Harrison to approximately Middle Belt Road, from an AG1-0 district to an M-2 district. Also - a petetion notarized Nov. 2nd, 1946 requesting a change in zoning on the North side of Five Mile .Road between Fock and Deering from an R-1C district to C-1. A motions vas made by Mr. Bentley, seconded by Mr. Isbell that a public hearing be held on these petetions and that Township Attorney, Mr. J. B. Ambrose, be instruct ly..to prepare the necessary legal notices for such public hearing/the proposition of including that area between Foch east to the present C-1 district be presented for the sake of uniforrit. Motion carried. The attached letter was received from the Livonia Township School District, and reply, as per carbon copy herewith was made. 0n Motion by MTO Bentley, seconded by G. L. Isbell, the meeting was adjourned, subject to call by Chairman Johnston. Mott cr ried. G. S,. Isbell, Secretary.
