Minutes of the regular meeting of the Livonia Township Zoning
Board, held in the Township Hall, May 27th, 1948.
The Meeting was called to order by Chairman Johnston at 8:30 PM
Members present: Carson Johnston, Chairman, Robert Rewey,
Walter Russell and Attorney Ambrose.
A petition was presented by Mable J. Sharpley for a change
in Zoning on the following described property:
The Northeast Quarter and the East one=half
of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, being
further described as that area bounded on the
North by Plymouth Road, on the East by Middle
belt Road, on the South by the e m tinuation of
West Chicago Road and on the West by the East
boundary of the adjacent A-G-l-E Zoning District,
all located in Section 35, to be changed Prom
an AG-1-0 and a 0-2 requirement to an PQ-1
requ±remente said area being located in Zoning
Map No.4.
It was moved by Mr• Rewey that a Public Hearing on'the above
change be held at the earliest poasible date. Seconded by Mr.
Russell. Motion carried.
Attorney Ambrose was requested by the Board to prepare an
Ordinance under M=1, amended to include uses such as Horse Raoing
on an arcs of land not less than 200 Acres.
There being no further business to come before the Board, on
motion by Mr• Russell, seconded by Mrs Rewey, the meeting was adjourned
by Chairman Johnston at 9:30 P.M.
