Passbook Account Balance $ 9,229.28 B. Trust Fund Account Balance $21,690.24 Announcements and Communications:  Election of Officers o Commissioner Trevor McCann appointed as President. o Commissioner Karen Bonanno appointed as Vice President. o Commissioner Oviya Jaisankar appointed as Secretary. o Commissioner Hunter Anderson appointed as Treasurer.  Spree Scholarship: Approval was given for a $150.00 donation for the college scholarship program for Livonia students run by the Spree Committee. o Motion 23-4-1: The Motion was made by Commissioner Bonanno and seconded by Commissioner Porter. Motion carried.  LPS Senior All Night Party: Approval was given for a $1,200.00 donation to LPS, to be used for the three Livonia public high schools senior all night parties. o Motion 23-4-2: The Motion was made by Commissioner Porter and seconded by Commissioner Anderson. Motion carried. Motion carried.  Parks & Rec Summer Concert Series: Approval was given for a $1,500.00 donation to the Livonia Parks & Recreation and Art Commission to help fund their Music from the Heart program, to be used to fund children’s activities at the event. o Motion 23-4-4: The Motion was made by Commissioner McCann and seconded by Commissioner Bonanno. Motion carried.  Arbor Day Project: Due to time and staffing constraints the program will not be held this year.  Youth Summit 2024: Tentative date of February of 2024. The commission discussed planning and arranging location and vendor quotes. Coordinating with Schoolcraft College for using their VisTaTech Center event space. Schoolcraft College has indicated willingness to help support the event and possibly donate to the event. Discussion on how to best handle 2 series of survey distribution and analysis. Meeting dates in 2023:  Proposed dates: o Thursday, June 8 @ 6 pm Fourth Floor Conference Room at Livonia City Hall. o Thursday, August 10 @ 6 pm Fourth Floor Conference Room at Livonia City Hall. o Thursday, October 10 @ 6 pm Fourth Floor Conference Room at Livonia City Hall. Additional dates can be scheduled with approval. Adjournment: Motion 23-4-5: The motion was made by commissioner McCann and seconded by commissioner Anderson to adjourn at 7:17 P.M.
